Governing Commission

IREC Research Institute of Hunting Resources

The Governing Commission is a Collegiate Body of the Institute for Game and Wildlife Research (IREC - CSIC, UCLM, JCCM) where the three organizations on which the institute depends participate: the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), the University of Castilla-La Mancha ( UCLM) and the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha (JCCM). It is made up of representatives of the three aforementioned organizations, the Director and the Manager of the IREC.

The Governing Commission is responsible of the following functions:

  • Issue a report regarding the proposals submitted for the appointment of Director of IREC.
  • Study and approve, where appropriate, the proposals of the Board of the Institute on the formation or suppression of Research Units or Departments, as well as rules for access and promotion of scientific personnel, subject, in any case, to what is provided by law. applicable to the matter.
  • Inform and submit to the competent bodies of the institutions participating in the agreement the proposals that require their approval.
  • Support the IREC before other Institutions and Entities, in order to achieve what is necessary for its best functioning and promotion.
