Sereno Cadierno, Jorge

George is Biology graduate from the University of Salamanca and Master's Degree in Biodiversity and Conservation Biology from the EBD from the Pablo de Olavide University. Between 2019 and 2021 she has worked as a field assistant in monitoring, sampling and marking bats, carnivores, ungulates and other vertebrates.

In December 2021, he began his research activity at the Instituto de Investigación en Recursos Cinegéticos (IREC – CSIC, UCLM, JCCM) with an FPU predoctoral contract from the Ministry of Universities. Here, it is part of Research Group in Health and Biotechnology (SaBio) and his research activity is fundamentally focused on the evaluation of the effects of the sampling design in the estimation of population densities of different groups of mammals by means of camera trapping.
