González López, Samuel

Samuel González is graduated Biology by the University of Salamanca and Master in Biology with a specialization in Herpetology por la universidad belga Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).

He completed his doctoral thesis at the Institute for Research on Hunting Resources (IREC - CSIC, UCLM, JCCM), with a pre-doctoral contract for research staff in training of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), as a member of the Research Group in Wildlife Toxicology. His research activity focuses on study the impact of dermal exposure to phytosanitary products on the terrestrial phases of amphibians. Its main objective is to develop strategies to improve the evaluation of ecotoxicological risks for amphibians derived from the use of these chemicals.
