Laia Casades is Veterinary graduate by the University of Valencia in 2016, and is currently postdoctoral researcher in the Instituto de Investigación en Recursos Cinegéticos (IREC – CSIC, UCLM, JCCM).
His research activity, developed in the Research Group in Health and Biotechnology (SaBio), focuses on the epidemiology, detection and establishment of control tools against diseases transmitted by culicid vectors, especially flaviviruses such as West Nile fever, in enzootic settings in a wild-domestic interaction gradient.
He currently enjoys a contract from the RESEARCH Program (Recovery and Resilience Mechanism) of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE).
