Blanco Aguiar, Jose Antonio

José Antonio is a member of the Research Group in Health and Biotechnology (SaBio) of the Instituto de Investigación en Recursos Cinegéticos (IREC – CSIC, UCLM, JCCM), within which he studies the evolutionary and ecological processes associated with hybridization, speciation, and domestication to understand the biology and population dynamics of the species.

Currently, he participates in the ENETWILD European Project, whose main objective is to collect information on the geographic distribution, abundance, and population structure of wild mammal species, with special relevance to those linked to livestock and human health.
