Course on camera trapping in studies of ecology and wildlife

    Registration open for the 3rd edition of the course «Use and potential of camera trapping in studies of ecology and monitoring of wildlife«


    Researchers from the Institute of Research in Hunting Resources (IREC – CSC, UCLM, JCCM) participate in the 3rd edition of the course “Use and potential of camera trapping in studies of ecology and monitoring of wildlife”, which will take place between February 7 and 10, 2022 at the Parque Ibérico de Natureza e Aventura de Vimioso (PINTA, São Joanico, Vimioso, Northeast Portugal).

    The course, organized by the Association for the Conservation of Nature and Rural Heritage - Palombar), Its main objective is to provide participants with technical and scientific knowledge on the use of camera trapping, and is aimed at anyone interested in the use of camera trapping for wildlife monitoring, such as students in their last year of their degree, master's degree, doctorate and wildlife monitoring technicians.

     

    The workshop "Use and Potential of Camera Trapping in Studies of Ecology and Monitoring of Wild Fauna” is done in Portugar, but is taught in Spanish. All the information in this link.

    The course, which is taught entirely in Spanish, also has the collaboration of the Mixed Biodiversity Research Unit (UMIB, UO-CSIC-PA), and has the support of the Municipality of Vimioso, Vales de Vimioso and PINTA.
