The conference "The prehistoric roots of hunting”, taught by Professor Germán Delibes, will begin on May 6, 2021 the cycle of conferences of the exhibition “The Hunt: An Evolving Challenge".
Throughout the months of May and June 2021, the Instituto de Investigación en Recursos Cinegéticos (IREC – CSIC, UCLM, JCCM) and the Association of Friends of the Museum of Ciudad Real organize a cycle of conferences associated with the exhibition "The Hunt: An Evolving Challenge", which has been in the Ciudad Real Museum since December 2019 and which has become the star informative event about the hunting world and the science it develops to promote sustainable hunting.
The series of conferences begins tomorrow, May 6, 2021 at 19.00:XNUMX p.m., with the conference entitled “The prehistoric roots of hunting”, which will be taught by Professor D. Germán Delibez de Castro, Professor of the Department of Prehistory of the University of Valladolid. The act will be inaugurated by Prof. D. José Julián Garde, Magnificent Rector of the University of Castilla la Mancha (UCLM), with a speech in which he will value the 20 years of life of IREC.
The conference will take place in the Paraninfo Rector Ernesto Martínez, located in the Rectorate of the University of Castilla la Mancha (C/ Altagracia 50, Ciudad Real).
