They have one great social importance, since they make it possible to return to society the effort that has been made with public funds, and in the field of environmental conservation and management, they constitute a fundamental step to encourage awareness and sensitization of society towards decision-making in favor of the sustainable use of natural resources.
The communication and dissemination of science are also of great importance for the future of scientific development, since they make it clear that funds allocated to research are always a good investment for the development and well-being of society and contribute to increasing the influence of scientists and research centers, allowing them to achieve more visibility and recognition, opening doors for them funding and potential collaborations.

To stay up to date calls for scholarships and grants for postgraduate training offered by different institutions, especially those that give access to our Master's Degree in Basic and Applied Research in Game Resources (MUIBARC) and/or our PhD Program in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
Since 2017, the gardens of the headquarters of the Institute for Research in Hunting Resources (IREC - CSIC, UCLM, JCCM), located on the Ciudad Real Campus of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), are managed to improve their biodiversity. For this reason, from IREC we make a monitoring of the bird and plant species that surround us in our workplace and we make this information available to society.
