Jose de Jesus de la Fuente is degree in Physics and PhD in Molecular Biology. throughout their more than 30 years as scientific researcher and teacher He has worked in institutions such as the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Havana (Cuba), the Institute of Molecular Biology of Zurich, the Institute of Genetic and Molecular Biology of Osaka (Japan) and the Center for Veterinary Sciences of the State University of Oklahoma (USA), in which he has held various positions.

Es tenured scientist and research professor at the CSIC attached to Instituto de Investigación en Recursos Cinegéticos (IREC – CSIC, UCLM, JCCM) since 2002, and since 2011 he combines this function with that of Associate Professor at the Oklahoma State University Veterinary Science Center (USA).
